Hard to believe but we are now half way through the hockey season and Remnants HC ladies are getting ready to get back to training on 8th January (Colfe's School, 7pm). Our first game is on 12th January away at Sevenoaks HC.
So far this season, Rems HC has won 4 games, drawn 3 and lost 5. We have scored 19 goals in 12 games ( Scorers were: Mel 1, Cathy 1, Jess 2, Aimee 1, Lou R 3, Lesley 3, Valerie 1, Laura 1 and Nicole 1).
There are ten games left this season, including four games at home; feel free to come along and support the team. :-)
Training is on 8/1, 15/1, 5/2, 19/2, 5/3 and 19/3 at Colfe's School (7-8pm) and Rush Hockey is on 29/1, 26/2 and 26/3 at Newlands Academy (7.30-8.30pm).
We also had a great time off the hockey pitch with a night out at Skylight Bar in London in November with great cocktails and amazing dancing.
Before Christmas, we had a lovely meal at The Apple Tree in Clerkenwell in London. The event was organised by Sabela and 20 club members enjoyed a lovely 3 course Christmas meal and the traditonal Christmas Quiz.
Our next social event is at the end of January and this time Sabe is organising a karaoke night in central London. More info soon. Remnants HC wishes you all the best for 2019 and feel free to contact us if you want to join our club and give hockey a try.
