Our committee is elected every year at the club's AGM. The committee is an important part of our club, organising fixtures, training, hosting social events, finding umpires and much more. Here is Remnants HC committee for 2018/2019:
Whilst our cultural kingpin Lou has been playing for just over a decade, and is a more experienced member of the team,
she has been known to forget crucial equipment at home, this includes, but is not isolated to her stick. During the week, Lou educates our future and her interests include the cinema, theatre and her little dog with a big heart, Tiny.
After a 25 year hiatus from hockey, Aimee returned at the beginning of the 17/18 season and it is safe to say that she still thinks that she
can run faster than she actually can. During the week she is involved in youth work and over a weekend likes to look for photos of African elephants (her favourite animal) on the interweb.
Sabela works for a global technology company which brings movies and TV to viewers on any device, or, put in other words, she
makes a living out of watching TV. She doesn't only love her work, she cycles everywhere she can, loves travelling (especially to the beach), a good cold beer and going to LGBTQI clubbing events. Originally from Spain, Sabe is a proud Galician that learned how to play hockey in secondary school. She joined the Rems in 2017.
Jess has been playing hockey since 2016. For her, Remnants is great for learning or improving hockey and she is proud to be able to
contribute as a committee member this season. Jess plays as a forward and hopes to score more goals in the new season after getting some inspiration at the Hockey world cup in London.
Tati is Fixtures Secretary and Umpire Whisperer. She started playing hockey at secondary school, but for reasons that now
escape her, gave up for 22 years, waiting until after her 41st birthday to start playing again (thus demonstrating that it’s never too late to pick up a stick again!) She joined Remnants HC when she moved to London in 2012, and has only broken two bones in that time. Off the pitch she is often to be found with her wife and dog, on a walk that includes a pub.

Aurélie joined Remnants HC in 2005 when she started working in Kent as a teacher after moving to the UK from Brittany (in France).
She now works for a youth charity in Maidstone. Apart from hockey, she enjoys cooking, baking and likes to bring some of her cakes and muffins to hockey games. Despite several injuries in recent years, she still enjoys playing in defence for Remnants HC.
Martina joined Rems HC in 2014 as a defender but soon found her vocation in the goal! Martina is from Slovakia and enjoys coding,
collecting LEGO minifigures and eating chocolate. She has recently started working in Big Data for a global information services company in London. Martina is happy to join the committee for the first time and to stop many goals in the 2018/19 season!
