ABOUT
Remnants HC is a queer-friendly field hockey club that proudly embraces and supports cis, trans, non-binary, lesbian, bi, and straight women alike. Since September 2021, we have been playing in the London League (South East). Our doors are open to players of all abilities, whether you've never picked up a stick, played casually at school, or are an experienced player looking for a new, inclusive club. No matter your skill level, you'll find a welcoming space here!
While hockey brings us together, many of our members also join for the vibrant social scene, meeting new friends and staying active. Our players are based in south-east London and Kent, we offer help with transport for those who need it, so don't hesitate to reach out. We can’t wait to welcome you to the team!
Our season runs from September to April, with additional summer activities like Rush Hockey and various tournaments. Many of our members also take part in exciting events such as the Pride 10K, Park Run, the London Marathon, and Pride Boxing.
Off the pitch, we love organizing fun social activities such as escape rooms, mini-golf nights, cocktail evenings, country walks, axe throwing, bowling, and celebrating at London Pride. Keep an eye on our calendar for a packed schedule of events throughout the year.
Our home games are played at Colfe's School on Saturdays at 12:30. We compete against teams across South East London, and supporters are always welcome to come along and cheer us on!
We also host weekly training sessions on Wednesday nights at Kidbrooke Grove from 7:30 to 8:30 PM (check the calendar for dates).
