Who are we? Where do we play? When do we train? What did I come in here for?

Come and play with us!

Based in south east London and Kent, Remnants Hockey Club is recruiting gay-friendly players of all abilities for the 2016-17 season. We field two women's teams in the Kent League, currently in Division 3 and Division 5.

Where we train and play

Our home pitch is at Sedgehill School on Beckenham Hill Road, London SE6 3QW (use the Beckenham Hill Road entrance to the car park by the astro). It's near Beckenham Hill station, which is served by two trains an hour from central London (Elephant & Castle/Blackfriars) and it's on the 54 bus route (Woolwich-Lewisham-Catford-Beckenham-Elmer's End)

When we train

Training has finished for the 2015-16 season, we'll start again in September. We train every Wednesday in season (September to March) from 7.30-9.00pm, then on to a local pub for essential strategizing.

When we play matches

We play on Saturdays. Home matches are at Sedgehill, often (but not always) at 10.30am. Away matches are also on Saturdays but times vary. Since we play in the Kent league, matches are in south east London and Kent. The season runs from September to April. Check the match times on our fixtures page for each team.

Training will start again on a Wednesday in early September 2016.

The 2016-17 dates haven't been announced yet but the season is likely to start on Saturday 10th September.
